The extremely fine maginetic wire must be soldered to the terminals, but the wire is so thin, the capillary forces of the molten solder between a soldering iron tip and the wire would snap the wire. Only the Spirflame could do the job.

These heavy silver alloy coated connector pins need to be soldered directly to the printed circuit board in this automotive application. The ordinary wave soldering process could not deliver enough concentrated heat for a good joint. Only the Spirflame could do the job.
